Experience:
3-5 year(s) working experience in Certification in Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) or Training of Trainers (ToT) is highly desirable.
Proven experience working with Competency-Based Learning Materials (CBLMs) and competency-based assessment systems.
Minimum three years' experience delivering technical or vocational skills training in plumbing, concrete, and masonry activities.
Demonstrated experience in delivering technical or vocational skills training.
Experience working in humanitarian, development, TVET, or skills development programmes will be an advantage.
Work experience in Cox's Bazar.
Experience with refugee or vulnerable communities is an asset.
National Skills Certificate (NSC), Trade Certificate or equivalent competency certification in one or more relevant trades (Plumbing, Pipeline, Masonry or Concrete) will be an advantage.
Certification in Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) or Training of Trainers (ToT) is highly desirable.
Commitment to capacity building and knowledge transfer.
Efficient knowledge of tools related to plumbing, concrete, and masonry works.
Knowledge and practical experience covering all competency units, modules, practical exercises, and assessment requirements contained in the following CBLMs: Plumbing Level-I (ISEC), Plumber etc.
Fluency in English and Bangla; knowledge of Rohingya/Chittagonian dialect is an asset.
Develop and implement competency-based training modules and plans for refugee volunteers engaged in WASH activities.
Deliver structured theoretical and practical training sessions using competency-based learning methodologies.
Facilitate learning through demonstrations, practical exercises, information sheets and guided workplace practice.
Conduct refresher and on-the-job training to improve technical performance.
Adapt training methodologies to accommodate learners with varying literacy levels and prior technical experience.
Promote participatory, learner-centered and inclusive training approaches.
Facilitated technical skills competency-based training on Plumbing, Concrete and Masonry following the CBLMs guidelines
Promote compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards during all training activities.
Mentor refugee volunteers to improve technical competency and workplace behavior.
Coordinate with Programme Manager, Technical Manager and Deputy Programme Manager to identify training needs and conduction of the training.
Need base coordinate and advocacy with CiC and others stakeholders for future employment of trained Mason & Plumber at Rohingya Refuges Camp.
