Job Context:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is working in the coastal area of Bangladesh since 1985. Its core activities are the socio-economic development of coastal people which is operated through seven thematic areas as Agriculture, Fishery, Dairy and Horticulture; Education, Skills and Youth Development; Conflict Resolution; Climate Change and Disaster; Health and Nutrition; Social Entrepreneurship; Microfinance and Rohingya Education, Protection and Repatriation.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is going to implement an upcoming Project in context of General Food Assistance Program (GFA) depending on the availability of fund from Donor. The overall objectives, Outcome and Output of the project are;
∎ Objectives:
∎ To improve nutritional status and enhance food security of 89732 Rohingya Refugees of 2 outlets in 3 camps.
∎ To enhance access to food during all emergency situations
∎ To improve market linkages and social cohesion between refugees and host communities’ small- scale farmers, aggregators and retailers.
∎ Outcome:
∎ Increased food security, Save life, Reduced malnutrition and to end hunger.
∎ Output:
∎ The most vulnerable households in refugee camps and makeshift camps in Cox’s Bazar received general food assistance through e-vouchers based on needs.
∎ Improved Market Linkages and social cohesion between refugees and host communities’ small- scale farmers, aggregators and retailers.
∎ Enhanced access to food during emergency as part of Rapid Response (in-kind and hot meals).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regularly update the beneficiaries list following the Donor supplied formats.
∎ Submit the updated beneficiaries list after necessary correction after completing a cycle of distribution.
∎ Ensure properly planned distribution schedule and invite them in appropriate time and location.
∎ Ensure all kinds of format are available which are required for documentation of distribution well ahead of distribution.
∎ Assist to resolve all sorts of complain received from Help Desk or at any corner immediately in collaboration with Donor field representatives.
∎ Effectively work with the Donor retailers in order to comply with Donor mandate and ensure availability of the commodity required and quality of stock for daily distribution
∎ Conduct Focus Group discussion and prepare report on evidence based for further improvement
∎ Support the program as a whole so that all stages of full distribution process are successful in providing guidance to the distribution point.
∎ Regularly conduct meeting with fellow staff, volunteer for ensuring responsibilities of each with crowd control.
∎ Ensure timely payment of volunteers according to CODEC financial procedures.
∎ Give proper direction if any sudden problem occurs in distribution program & how to solve them and keep supportive supervision in consultation with supervisor.
∎ Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and tools used in the outlet and ensure cleanliness of outlet.
∎ Engage required volunteer, labor, porter as and where required in consultation with Programme Manager.
∎ Send reports to M&E senior officer after each distribution on a daily basis
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have experience on Food Security Program and hands on experience of food security indicators.
∎ Must have working knowledge on Cash base intervention in humanitarian and development context.
∎ Must have working experience in Rohingya Camps and well conversant on about the context.
∎ Candidates should have at least 2 years' previous experience in related field preferably in Emergency Response and resilience project in Cox’s Bazar.

Salary: Tk. 55000 - 60000 (Monthly)
