RFL Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading conglomerates, is seeking a skilled and quality-focused professional for the position of Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Lacquer Finishing Production (Wood Division). The role is responsible for overseeing lacquer finishing operations, ensuring superior finishing quality, production efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
The incumbent will work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to reduce defects, optimize finishing processes, and maintain high-quality standards. The position requires strong technical knowledge of wood finishing and hands-on factory experience to support RFL’s commitment to manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily lacquer finishing production activities to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
Monitor finishing processes including sanding, staining, sealing, lacquer coating, polishing, buffing, and touch-up works.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, chemicals, and finishing materials.
Coordinate with production planning, maintenance, and quality teams to maintain uninterrupted workflow.
Ensure finishing quality meets company standards and customer requirements.
Monitor color consistency, gloss level, coating smoothness, and overall finishing appearance.
Identify and minimize finishing defects such as scratches, bubbles, uneven coating, dust marks, and discoloration.
Monitor daily production output, wastage, and chemical consumption.
Maintain records related to finishing operations and inventory usage.
