Experience:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Professional certifications (like PGD in SCM, CIPS & diploma in textile) will be an added advantage.
Coordinate yarn import operations from order placement to final delivery by close cooperation with planning.
Maintain strong communication with overseas suppliers and negotiate favorable terms (price, lead time, delivery, etc.) also some local purchase of yarn to meet urgency if need.
Prepare and process LC, TT, and other import-related documentation.
Monitor shipment schedules and follow up on timely delivery with commercial freight forwarders and clearing agents.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and resolve any issues with port or customs authorities by consulting with commercial & Finance.
Maintain import tracking and inventory records and update relevant teams (planning, production, store).
Liaise with finance and accounts for payment processes and cost analysis. Prepare reports on yarn import status, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
Work closely with the production planning team to align supply timelines with manufacturing needs as well as liaison with marketing to set the priority.
Ensure all documentation is in line with audit and compliance standards.
