Responsibilities & Context: - Ensure quality inspection at every stage: cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
- Verify compliance with buyer specifications, AQL standards, and QMS requirements.
- Conduct inline, end-line, and final inspections to identify and control defects.
- Monitor measurement, workmanship, appearance, and labeling accuracy.
- Ensure needle detector, metal detector, and pressing processes meet quality standards.
- Maintain 100% quality check before packing to avoid defective shipment.
- Record all nonconformities and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, and finishing teams for quality alignment.
- Maintain proper documentation and reports for internal and buyer audits.
- Train and guide workers and quality inspectors to follow SOPs.
- Monitor packaging, poly, carton, and carton markings as per buyer guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement activities to reduce rejection and rework.
- Conduct fabric inspection before cutting and record as per QMS.
- Ensure compliance with SOP, work instructions, and buyer standards.
- Monitor marker efficiency, fabric utilization, and minimize wastage.
- Perform in-process inspections and prepare defect reports.
- Ensure proper bundle identification (size, color, style, lot, tag).
- Record defects/nonconformities and implement CAPA.
- Maintain documents and records for internal/buyer audits.
- Share quality data with other departments and support MRM.
- Apply continuous improvement tools (PDCA, Root Cause, 5 Why).
- Provide training/awareness to team on QMS and quality standards.
- Coordinate with sewing, finishing, and inspection teams.
