∎ Extensive knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, sewing techniques, and quality control procedures.
∎ Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools for production planning and control.
∎ Understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
∎ Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist the Production Manager in planning, organizing, and executing sewing floor operations.
∎ Monitor and ensure compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and deadlines.
∎ Supervise and provide guidance to sewing floor staff, including machine operators, line supervisors, and quality controllers.
∎ Train and evaluate production staff to enhance performance and maintain a skilled workforce.
∎ Collaborate with the Procurement Department to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources.
∎ Conduct regular inspections of sewing machines, equipment, and workstations to maintain optimal functionality and safety.
∎ Identify and resolve production-related issues, such as quality defects and bottlenecks, in a timely manner.
∎ Implement and enforce workplace policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive working environment.
∎ Monitor and improve productivity, aiming to minimize production costs and maximize efficiency.
∎ Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
