Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

The role is responsible for supporting the procurement function by ensuring timely sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, contract compliance, and efficient supply of materials and services.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors

  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders

  • Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services

  • Monitor supplier performance, quality, pricing, and delivery timelines

  • Support contract management and compliance with company policies

  • Coordinate with internal departments

  • Maintain procurement documentation, records, and MIS reports

  • Support cost control initiatives and budget monitoring

  • Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing and regulatory standards

  • Assist in vendor development and alternative sourcing strategies

  • Manage inventory coordination with stores/logistics teams
