Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

The Assistant Manager – Commercial will support commercial operations by managing procurement, vendor coordination, documentation, logistics, compliance, and cost control activities to ensure smooth supply chain and business operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and finalizing purchase agreements.

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve commercial issues.

  • Prepare and manage commercial documents (POs, invoices, LC documents, contracts, delivery notes).

  • Coordinate import/export activities, shipping, customs clearance, and logistics.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

  • Track procurement costs, budgets, and commercial expenditures.

  • Prepare cost comparison statements and commercial analysis reports.

  • Support budget planning and cost optimization initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate commercial records and documentation

  • Support internal and external audits.

  • Coordinate with finance, accounts, Factory, logistics, and operations teams.

  • Support management in commercial planning and execution.
