∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Bachelor’s/Master’s in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
∎ Minimum 5-8 years in woven garment merchandising, with at least 2 years of experience handling NEXT buyers.
∎ Strong knowledge of woven fabrics, washes, garment finishing, and printing techniques.
∎ Understanding of AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit), inspection processes, and compliance audits.
∎ Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal).Strong negotiation skills to handle buyers, suppliers, and vendors.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
∎ Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP systems.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Independently manage NEXT buyers, ensuring smooth order execution and maintaining strong relationships.
∎ Oversee the entire order process from development to shipment, ensuring timelines, quality, and compliance standards are met.
∎ Work closely with design teams to develop and improve product samples, ensuring alignment with buyer requirements.
∎ Analyse and prepare detailed cost sheets, price negotiations, and production feasibility before confirming orders.
∎ Coordinate with local and international suppliers for fabric, trims, and accessories while optimizing cost and quality.
∎ Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality assurance.
∎ Ensure all compliance, technical approvals, lab tests, and shipment documents are in place as per buyer requirements.
∎ Identify and resolve production, shipment, and communication challenges proactively.
∎ Stay updated with global fashion trends, new fabrics, and production techniques to provide better service to buyers.
