Job Description

Position: Assistant Manager – HR & Admin
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Reports To: HR & Admin Head / Managing Director
Salary is negotiable and will be determined based on experience, skills, and overall suitability for the role.

Position Summary

The Assistant Manager – HR & Admin will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, overseeing employee performance, and maintaining operational discipline across Global Pathway Experts Limited and Global Academy Bangladesh.

The role requires a proactive and highly organized professional with strong HR expertise and operational understanding. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in EdTech, service sector, recruitment firms, or sales-driven organizations.

1. Employee Performance & People Management

  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance across departments to ensure accountability and productivity.

  • Develop, implement, and track SMART KPIs aligned with organizational goals.

  • Conduct regular performance appraisals and provide structured, actionable feedback.

  • Address employee concerns and grievances professionally while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Promote team motivation, engagement, and alignment with company objectives.

2. HR Operations, Compliance & Administration

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, labor laws, and statutory regulations.

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, induction, confirmation, and exit formalities.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, documentation, and reporting systems.

  • Support internal audits and inspections through proper documentation and compliance tracking.

  • Oversee office administration, facilities management, vendor coordination, and daily operational efficiency.

 

 

3. Operational Discipline & Process Excellence

  • Enforce strict adherence to company policies, reporting standards, and performance expectations.

  • Monitor departmental reporting and deliverables to maintain operational accountability.

  • Identify gaps in processes, performance, or compliance and implement corrective measures.

  • Implement and maintain structured systems for attendance, leave management, and internal reporting

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR & Administration, preferably within EdTech, service sector, recruitment, or sales-driven environments.

  • Experience in performance evaluation systems and KPI development.

  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and labor regulations.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
