Branch Operations – Sales (Study Abroad & Language Programs)
Department: Sales & Operations
Reports To: Head of Sales & Operations
Experience Required: 5–7 years in Sales Operations (preferably in education consultancy, study abroad, or EdTech)
Position Overview
GPEL and GAB are seeking a Branch Operations – Sales professional to oversee sales operations, student counselling, and file management at the branch level.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing operations excellence, supervising counsellors and telesales teams, and ensuring a seamless student journey from initial enquiry to course admission and visa processing.
This role requires a target-oriented, organized, and energetic individual with strong people management, communication, and operational skills.
Key Responsibilities
1️. Sales & Business Development
Drive sales for study abroad programs, language courses, and test prep programs (IELTS, PTE, SAT, GRE, GMAT, etc.)
Manage and motivate counsellors and telesales team to achieve branch sales targets
Maintain relationships with B2B agents and partners for lead generation and business expansion
Track leads, conversions, and revenue targets; identify areas for improvement
2. Branch Operations Management
Oversee student file management including admissions, applications, and documentation
Ensure all processes are compliant with company standards and internal policies
Supervise daily branch operations to ensure smooth workflow and high service quality
Coordinate with Marketing, Counselling, and Product teams to support campaigns and promotions
3️. Team Management & Supervision.
Lead and mentor branch sales team, counsellors, and telesales executives.
Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets for team members.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to improve productivity.
Ensure proper reporting from all team members for operational tracking.
4️. Customer Service Excellence
Ensure high levels of student satisfaction throughout the enquiry, counselling, and admission process
Resolve escalated queries or issues promptly
Monitor feedback and implement improvements for branch service delivery
5️. Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of branch performance, student applications, and sales data
Submit weekly and monthly reports to Head of Sales & Operations
Ensure all branch activities comply with internal compliance and operational standards
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Sales Operations in education consultancy, study abroad, or related sectors
Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets
Experience managing B2B agents and sales teams
Strong knowledge of study abroad applications, language courses, and admission processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and target-driven
Experience in team supervision and operational management
