Responsibilities & Context:
· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with:
o Cambridge Lower Secondary Chemistry (Up to Grade 8)
o Cambridge GCE and IGCSE Chemistry (O & A Level)
· Develop and implement comprehensive schemes of work covering all required skills, topics, and texts.
· Create stimulating classroom environments that foster language development, critical thinking, literary analysis, and effective communication.
· Use a variety of Cambridge-recommended teaching methods and resources, including technology integration.
· Prepare students for Cambridge O Level and A Level examinations, guiding them on essay writing, question types, and exam techniques.
· Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments aligned with Cambridge standards.
· Provide detailed, constructive feedback tailored to each student’s level.
· Communicate effectively with parents through meetings and reports.
· Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive curriculum across all levels.
