Position Overview
GPEL is looking for a Executive/Senior Executive – Marketing Communications to lead brand messaging, campaign communication, and product positioning across our study abroad and language programs.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and capable of coordinating cross-functional teams including Counsellors (Sales), Telesales, Business Development, and Marketing. They will translate product and program features into compelling content, oversee social media communication, and create persuasive scripts for multiple channels.
This role requires someone with 3+ years of experience in EdTech, digital product marketing, content writing, and script writing, who is detail-oriented, active, and excellent in English communication.
Key Responsibilities
1️. Product Briefs & Positioning
Develop structured product briefs for:
Study Abroad programs (Europe, UK, Canada, etc.)
Language courses and test preparation programs
Highlight USPs, country-specific requirements, scholarships, and career outcomes
Ensure all internal teams (Sales, Telesales, BD) understand product positioning
2️. Campaign Messaging
Lead communication for campaigns across multiple channels
Create persuasive messaging for admissions, intake campaigns, and promotional initiatives
Align campaign content with sales targets and lead conversion objectives
3️. Social Media Supervision
Oversee daily social media content and scheduling
Ensure brand tone, voice, and messaging consistency
Review captions, scripts, and creatives before publishing
Monitor engagement and suggest content optimisation
4️. Script Writing
Write scripts for:
Promotional videos
Reels and short-form content
Telesales and counselling calls
Webinars, seminars, and B2B presentations
Ensure scripts align with product positioning, brand messaging, and sales objectives
5️. Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Counsellors, Telesales, BDM, and Marketing to ensure messaging is aligned with business priorities
Provide communication support for campaigns, events, and product launches
Ensure smooth internal flow of information regarding product features, updates, and campaign plans
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
Background in EdTech, digital products, or education services
Strong experience in:
Content writing
Script writing
Product positioning and marketing communications
Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken)
Highly organised, proactive, and active
Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordination
Familiarity with social media content supervision
