Position: Counsellor/ Senior Counsellor – Study Abroad (Country-Based Specialisation)
Locations: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Vacancies: 5 (3-4 Destinations each counsellor)
Reports To: Branch Operations Manager / Head of Sales
Salary Range: BDT 25,000 – 35,000 (Based on experience & performance)
Position Summary
The Counsellor/Senior Counsellor – Country Based will be responsible for providing expert counselling, application guidance, and end-to-end admission support for students applying to specific destination countries.
We are hiring experienced counsellors for the following country specialisations:
-USA, UK, Canada,Malaysia
-Australia / New Zealand
-Europe (Schengen & Non-Schengen countries)
-China, Japan, South Korea
The ideal candidate must have proven experience handling applications, university processes, and visa documentation for their assigned country. This role requires strong counselling capability, conversion skills, documentation accuracy, and the ability to achieve individual revenue targets.
1. Student Counselling & Conversion
• Provide professional counselling to students for assigned destination country.
• Assess academic background and recommend suitable universities, programs, and intakes.
• Convert walk-ins, digital leads, and referrals into successful applications.
• Guide students and guardians through course selection, budgeting, and career pathways.
• Achieve monthly individual sales and application targets.
2. Application & Documentation Management
• Handle complete student file process from counselling to visa submission.
• Ensure accuracy in documentation including SOP, LOR, financial documents, and academic papers.
• Coordinate with university representatives and admission officers.
• Track application progress and update CRM regularly.
• Ensure visa documentation compliance according to country requirements.
3. Revenue & Performance Management
• Meet assigned revenue targets for tuition-based services and language/test preparation programs.
• Maintain high lead-to-conversion ratios.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling IELTS, PTE, or other services.
• Maintain strong follow-up systems to improve closing rate.
4. Country Expertise & Compliance
• Stay updated with visa rules, immigration policies, and university requirements for assigned country.
• Conduct country-specific seminars or information sessions when required.
• Ensure ethical counselling practices and transparent guidance to students.
• Maintain compliance with institutional and immigration standards.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Study Abroad Counsellor for a specific destination country.
• Strong understanding of university admission systems and visa processes.
• Experience handling multiple intakes and deadlines.
• Proven track record of achieving conversion and revenue targets.
