MIE Pathways is seeking experienced Academic Manager to join our team and help guide students toward global academic and professional success.
Key Responsibilities – Academic Manager
Ensure compliance with NCUK regulations and institutional accreditation requirements, including maintaining academic documentation, reporting, and quality standards.
Plan, develop, and implement the Academic Calendar, class schedules, and overall academic operations to ensure the smooth delivery of each intake.
Coordinate student registration, entry requirements, Password Tests, and academic administration processes.
Recruit, induct, train, and manage faculty members, ensuring adequate facilities, teaching resources, and adherence to program requirements.
Oversee teaching and learning activities, including lesson planning, resource allocation, and the implementation of best teaching practices.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning through feedback collection, teacher evaluations, peer reviews, and performance assessments.
Manage assessment planning and delivery in accordance with NCUK regulations, ensuring academic integrity, standardized marking, and proper examination procedures.
Conduct regular academic and program committee meetings, monitor progress, and implement continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance measures.
Monitor student attendance, academic performance, and engagement, while providing academic guidance, remedial support, and timely interventions for underperforming students.
Maintain effective communication with students, parents, counsellors, and placement officers to support student success and align academic performance with university placement opportunities.
Support university application and placement processes by ensuring students receive appropriate academic guidance and realistic progression pathways.
Provide necessary teaching support and deliver assigned modules as required by the institution and the program.
