Experience:
Retired/Former Army Officer with relevant HR, Administration, leadership, discipline, or management experience in an educational institution.
Master's degree / MBA in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline from a reputed university.
Additional qualifications in management, leadership, administration, or education will be considered an advantage.
Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration, with significant experience in a leadership/managerial position.
HR leadership experience in a Cambridge/CAIE or international education organisation.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, HR software, and other relevant digital tools.
Provide overall leadership and direction for the Human Resources and Administration functions of the school.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR and administrative policies, procedures, systems, and guidelines.
Ensure that HR and administrative activities are aligned with the school's vision, mission, policies, and operational requirements.
Lead and supervise the HR and Administration team and ensure effective allocation of duties and responsibilities.
Ensure efficient coordination between HR, and other departments.
Monitor the performance and effectiveness of administrative and support staff.
Identify operational issues and implement timely and effective solutions.
Maintain high standards of discipline, professionalism, confidentiality, and workplace conduct.
Take overall responsibility for the recruitment and selection process for academics and admin staffs.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained across academic, administrative, and support functions.
Monitor employee turnover, absenteeism, vacancies, and workforce requirements.
Ensure the preparation, maintenance, and confidentiality of personal files and employment records for all employees.
Maintain accurate records of recruitment, appointment, performance, disciplinary actions, resignation, and separation.
Maintain a professional, respectful, and positive working environment throughout the school.
Handle employee grievances, complaints, conflicts, and workplace concerns fairly and confidentially.
Ensure that disciplinary actions are properly documented and consistently applied.
Promote professional conduct, punctuality, accountability, teamwork, and workplace discipline.
Establish and monitor effective systems for employee attendance, punctuality, leave, and working hours.
Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and administrative guidelines.
Oversee the administrative functions necessary for the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a safe, clean, organised, and professional school environment.
