ACT Education & Visa Consultants is a fast-growing international education consultancy with its Head Office in Sydney, Australia and branch offices in Dhaka and Cumilla, Bangladesh.
We specialize in international student recruitment and visa guidance for multiple study destinations and are currently expanding our East Asia portfolio. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead student recruitment and counseling for Japan, South Korea, and China.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced counselor with proven expertise in student admissions and visa processing for Japan, South Korea, and China.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in counseling students, training team members, developing institutional partnerships, and growing the East Asia destination portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Counsel students interested in studying in:
Japan
South Korea
China
Assess students' academic backgrounds and recommend suitable universities, colleges, language institutes, and scholarship opportunities.
Guide students through the complete admission process, including:
Institution selection
Application preparation
Documentation review
Offer letter processing
Visa application support
Assist students with study plans, SOPs, and interview preparation where required.
Stay updated on admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, visa regulations, and immigration policies for Japan, South Korea, and China.
Train and mentor junior counselors regarding East Asian admissions and visa procedures.
Conduct seminars, workshops, and promotional events focused on East Asian study destinations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partner institutions and universities.
Develop strategies to increase enrollment and achieve recruitment targets.
Ensure excellent student service and maintain a high visa success rate.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Japan, South Korea, and/or China student admissions and visa processing.
Proven experience in handling student applications independently from initial counseling to visa approval.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of East Asian education systems.
Excellent English communication and counseling skills.
Strong presentation and relationship management abilities.
Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
Leadership skills with experience in team training and development.
Strong problem-solving and student service mindset.
