Job Responsibilities & Context
We are ACT Education & Visa Consultants, a registered education consultancy and student visa services company operating across Australia and Bangladesh. We help Bangladeshi students secure admissions and visas to universities, colleges, and training institutions across Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
We are expanding our marketing operation and looking for a Marketing Manager who can lead both digital and offline marketing functions from the ground up, someone who thinks like a strategist, writes like a copywriter, and executes like a creative director.
This is a full ownership role. You will not be executing someone else's plan. You will build it, run it, and report directly to the CEO.
Daily Tasks & Core Responsibilities
Content Creation & Short-Form Video
Plan, script, and oversee production of Reels and YouTube Shorts targeting Bangladeshi students pursuing study opportunities in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK
Write hooks that capture attention within the first 2–3 seconds and hold viewer retention through to the CTA
Develop original content series around student success stories, visa tips, university highlights, destination comparisons, and study abroad life across all four destinations
Research trending audio, viral formats, and meme culture daily and adapt them to fit our brand without copying
Brief video editors and designers with detailed creative direction including hook, storyline, visual style, motion graphics, and CTA
Performance Marketing & Paid Advertising
Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, and YouTube
Handle audience targeting, lookalike audiences, retargeting funnels, and campaign budget allocation across destination-specific and multi-destination campaigns
Run A/B tests on creatives, copy, and landing pages to continuously improve click-through and conversion rates
Track and report on key metrics: reach, engagement, watch time, CTR, lead quality, and cost per lead, broken down by destination where relevant
Make weekly campaign adjustments based on data, not assumptions
Copywriting & Campaign Messaging
Write ad copy, video scripts, captions, landing page content, email campaigns, and WhatsApp broadcast messages in both English and Bangla
Develop destination-specific campaign messaging for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and UK, each with its own intake windows, visa conditions, and student motivations
Ensure all copies across every channel maintains a consistent brand voice, credible, engaging, and student-first
Offline Marketing & Events
Plan and execute education fairs, school and college presentations, campus seminars, and partner events across Dhaka and regional offices including Cumilla
Coordinate all on-ground promotional materials including banners, brochures, flyers, and destination-specific event collateral
Build relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centres, and community networks as consistent student inquiry sources across all four destination markets
Represent the brand professionally at all offline events and ensure messaging aligns with our digital presence and destination offerings
Campaign Planning & Content Calendar
Build and manage monthly and quarterly content calendars aligned with intake seasons, scholarship deadlines, and admission windows across Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK simultaneously
Plan campaigns in advance, not reactively. Intake season preparation should begin at least 6–8 weeks out
Coordinate with the counseling and operations teams to ensure marketing messaging accurately reflects current offers, institutions, and visa conditions for each destination
Community Building & Brand Growth
Grow and manage social media communities across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
Drive engagement through comments, Q&A sessions, student testimonials, destination spotlights, and interactive content formats
Identify and manage influencer, alumni, or student ambassador collaborations, ideally students currently studying in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or the UK, that bring authentic voices to our platforms
Encourage and amplify user-generated content from current and former students across all destinations
Team Leadership & Internal Coordination
Lead and manage designers, video editors, and junior marketing staff with clear briefs, deadlines, and feedback
Coordinate with counselors and the operations team so that marketing campaigns are grounded in real student experiences and accurate, destination-specific service information
Run regular brainstorming sessions to generate fresh content ideas and campaign concepts across the team
Reporting & Analytics
Prepare and present monthly marketing performance reports to the CEO covering digital metrics, lead volume, campaign ROI, offline event outcomes, and destination-wise performance breakdown
Track what's working and cut what isn't. Recommend budget reallocation based on performance data across destinations and channels
Monitor competitor activity and global best practices in international education marketing and bring relevant insights back to the team
What a Typical Week Looks Like
Reviewing content performance from the previous week and adjusting the content calendar across all four destinations
Scripting 2–3 new Reels or Shorts and briefing the video editor
Monitoring and optimizing active paid ad campaigns across Meta and Google
Planning an upcoming school visit, education fair, or destination-specific seminar
Coordinating with counselors on a student story for an upcoming content piece
Presenting a weekly snapshot to the CEO on leads generated, destination breakdown, and campaign status
Work Environment & Expectations
This role operates in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Intake seasons across four destinations create high-pressure windows where multiple campaigns, events, and deadlines run simultaneously. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing competing priorities without dropping quality.
You will be given creative freedom and budget responsibility. In return, the expectation is full ownership, not just effort, but measurable outcomes.
