ACT Education & Visa Consultants is a growing international education consultancy with its Head Office in Sydney, Australia and branch offices in Dhaka and Cumilla, Bangladesh.

We specialize in student recruitment and visa guidance for leading institutions across the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. As part of our expansion strategy, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic UK Student Counselor to strengthen and lead our UK destination team.

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced UK Student Counselor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in UK student recruitment and admissions counseling.

The ideal candidate will not only counsel students but also play a key leadership role in developing our UK destination portfolio, training junior counselors, building relationships with UK institutions, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert counseling to students interested in studying in the United Kingdom.

2. Assess students' academic backgrounds and recommend suitable universities, colleges, and courses.

3. Guide students through the complete admission process, including:

   • University selection

   • Application preparation

   • Offer letter processing

   • CAS guidance

4. Visa documentation and application support

5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK education policies, admission requirements, visa regulations, and market trends.

6. Train, mentor, and develop the counseling team on UK admissions and student recruitment best practices.

7. Establish and strengthen relationships with UK universities, colleges, and partner institutions.

8. Conduct seminars, workshops, and promotional events related to UK study opportunities.

9. Develop strategies to increase student enrollment for the UK destination.

10. Monitor team performance and guide to achieve recruitment targets.

11. Support management in building and expanding the UK destination business.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).

Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in UK student counseling and recruitment.

Strong understanding of:

1. UK higher education system

2. UCAS (if applicable)

3. Admission procedures

4. UK student visa process

5. CAS and compliance requirements

6. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

7. Proven experience in handling student applications independently.

Preferred Skills:

1. Existing relationships with UK universities and admissions teams.

2. Leadership and team training experience.

3. Strong sales, business development, and conversion skills.

4. Ability to achieve enrollment targets and drive growth.

5. Experience working with leading education consultancies.
