Experience:
Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Education, Business Administration, or a related field; training in Early Childhood Development (ECD) will be an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of experience in field-level project coordination or management roles.
Experience managing donor-funded projects, preferably with UN agencies.
Experience in childcare, education, women’s economic empowerment, or community development projects.
Experience in supervising community-based entrepreneurs.
Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems.
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection standards.
Experience using digital tracking tools such as Google Sheets, Google Forms, and dashboards.
Financial literacy and experience coordinating with finance teams.

Position Overview:
The Field Coordinator is the central operational lead of the childcare pilot project. The position ensures effective dayto-day management, coordination between the Hub and Spokes (community-based childcare centers), and compliance with UN Women’s Terms of Reference (ToR). The Field Coordinator bridges strategic leadership and field implementation, ensuring that project activities are implemented on time, within scope, and in accordance with AAQDW (Accessibility, Affordability, Quality, Decent Work) standards. The role requires strong project management, field supervision, stakeholder coordination, monitoring oversight, and reporting consolidation skills.

Reports To : Project Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Implementation
Ensure timely and quality implementation of all planned activities.
Track deliverables and ensure milestone completion.
Coordinate Hub-level operations and support Spoke-level service delivery.
Coordination & Supervision
Supervise and coordinate Women Entrepreneurs (Spokes).
Conduct regular field visits for mentoring and performance review.
Ensure proper onboarding and orientation of Spokes.
Facilitate coordination among MEL Officer, Finance Officer, and Communication Officer.
Serve as the main communication focal point between field teams and Project Lead.
Quality Assurance & AAQDW Compliance
Oversee implementation of SOPs, safeguarding protocols, and quality standards.
Ensure weekly AAQDW compliance monitoring.
Monitor structured ECD activities and service delivery standards.
Review incident reporting and corrective action mechanisms.
Ensure child protection and safeguarding compliance at all centers.
Voucher & Financial Oversight (Operational Level)
Coordinate voucher verification and reconciliation with Finance Officer.
Monitor attendance and documentation linked to voucher disbursement.
Track parent contributions and service delivery compliance.
Ensure financial transparency at Spoke level.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Support
Support baseline and endline data collection processes.
Ensure accurate attendance and service utilization tracking.
Review performance dashboards prepared by MEL Officer.
Lead corrective action planning based on monitoring findings.
Contribute to learning checkpoint review and financial viability analysis.
Reporting & Documentation
Consolidate monthly narrative and operational reports.
Contribute to financial and performance reporting to UN Women.
Ensure timely submission of progress updates.
Support preparation of learning synthesis and final reports.
Stakeholder Engagement
Coordinate with community leaders, parents, and employers.
Participate in consultation meetings and review sessions.
Support employer engagement discussions for co-financing exploration.
Represent AYAT Education in operational meetings as required.
Risk Management & Safeguarding
Identify implementation risks and propose mitigation measures.
Ensure safeguarding compliance and ethical data practices.
Monitor dropout trends and recommend corrective strategies.
