• Strong theoretical and clinical knowledge in nursing subjects.

• Practical teaching or training experience in a nursing institute or hospital (preferred).

• Ability to conduct both classroom and clinical demonstrations.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong classroom management and student counseling ability.

• Professional attitude, discipline and ethical conduct

• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and academic administration.

• Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment and student evaluation.

• Familiarity with BNMC curriculum, accreditation standards, and nursing regulations.

• Basic computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, email, etc.).

• Willingness to take additional academic responsibilities when needed.

Daliya Nursing College (DNC), Bogura, is a respected healthcare education institution dedicated to training competent, ethical nursing professionals in line with the standards and guidelines of the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC). The college emphasizes academic excellence, discipline and quality clinical education to meet the growing healthcare needs of the country. We are now looking for a highly qualified and experienced candidate for the post of Instructor-Nursing at Daliya Nursing College (DNC), Bogura.

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering classes, guiding students in both theoretical and practical settings and contributing to the overall academic environment. The role is crucial in maintaining compliance with Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) guidelines, improving student performance and supporting institutional growth through quality teaching and mentorship.

Major Responsibilities:

• Minimum Class Load is Twenty One (21) per Week.

• Coordinate and guide the Students of the class and ensure class attendance.      

• Check the Lesson Plan if it is done according to the Syllabus and present the same to the section in-charge for approval.      

• Counsel to the Guardians/ Parents as and when required.

• Organize different Programs (Rally, Campaign, Medical Camps, Cultural Program, Debates, etc.).     

• Take initiative whenever it is necessary in order to uphold the image of the Institution.     

• Take initiative against any sort of disciplinary activities by any of the subordinates or students.      

• Supervise the Teacher-Parents meeting and Result Day.

• Counsel Parents/Guardians regarding their children`s problems.      

• Conduct theoretical & Practical Classes as per the syllabus and College.   

• Motivate and counsel the students and their parents/guardians through follow-up to ensure 85% class attendance and to reduce dropouts.   

• Facilitate in-house skill training for the teaching staff.   

• Assist Department Head as per his/ her needed.  

• Prepare weekly attendance report and submit to the Department Head.   

• Prepare a lesson plan and semester plan at the beginning of the subject.  

• Positive willingness for teamwork.   

• To arrange clinical practice and internship for students.

• Any other task as assigned from time to time by the top management.
