Responsibilities & Context:

1. Minimum Class 12 (Twelve) per week.

2. Coordinate, guide, and supervise teachers of the assigned department and ensure effective academic management.

3. Prepare teacher load distribution, class distribution, academic routines, examination schedules, and other academic plans as per institutional policy.

4. Prepare lesson plans according to the approved syllabus and deliver lectures/classes as assigned.

5. Monitor and supervise teachers' classes to ensure regularity, punctuality, proper lesson delivery, syllabus coverage, and effective classroom management.

6. Conduct regular class/lecture observations, review teachers' lesson plans and academic performance, and provide necessary guidance and feedback.

7. Supervise examinations, assessments, practical sessions, student attendance, academic records, and timely completion of the syllabus.

8. Maintain and monitor all necessary academic registers and records, including attendance, lesson plans, notices, class monitoring, and result records.

9. Counsel students and communicate with parents/guardians regarding academic performance, attendance, discipline, and other student-related matters.

10. Organize and supervise academic, co-curricular, extracurricular, excursion, cultural, sports, debate, campaign, and other institutional programs.

11. Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA), arrange necessary teacher training, and take initiatives for student attachment/internship with reputed organizations.

12. Ensure discipline and compliance with institutional policies, prepare required reports, address academic/operational issues, uphold the institution's image, and perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
