Strong conceptual and practical knowledge of Physics and/or Botany.

Ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear, simple, and engaging manner.

Good classroom management, communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.Sound understanding of STEM education and willingness to implement STEM-based learning approaches.

Experience in conducting and supervising science laboratory activities will be an added advantage.

Ability to prepare students for public examinations and competitive academic activities.

Strong moral values, discipline, integrity, and professional attitude.

Preference will be given to candidates having an Islamic mindset and values aligned with the ethos of the institution.

Willingness to work in a boys’ residential school environment and contribute to students’ overall academic, personal, and character development.

• Plan and conduct engaging and well-structured lessons in Physics and/or Botany according to the prescribed curriculum.

• Teach Physics/Botany effectively to students from Grade VI to Grade XI.

• Develop students’ conceptual understanding of scientific principles and their practical applications.

• Conduct and supervise Physics and Botany laboratory activities, demonstrations, experiments, and practical classes.

• Foster scientific thinking, analytical reasoning, observation skills, and problem-solving abilities among students.

• Prepare lesson plans, classwork, assessments, examination questions, assignments, and other academic materials.

• Provide academic support and guidance to students beyond regular classroom hours, particularly for examination preparation and subject enrichment.

• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide appropriate feedback and remedial support when required.

• Encourage students to participate in science projects, exhibitions, science fairs, competitions, STEM activities, and other science-related co-curricular activities.

• Maintain effective classroom management and ensure a disciplined, respectful, and positive learning environment.

• Monitor students’ discipline, behaviour, and well-being during both academic and residential activities, as assigned.

• Work collaboratively with other teachers and school authorities to ensure the holistic development of students.

• Maintain regular communication with the school leadership regarding students’ academic progress, classroom requirements, and other relevant matters.
