Position Overview
GPEL is seeking a Senior Admissions & Compliance Officer to manage the complete student admissions and visa compliance process for selected European destinations.
The role involves end-to-end handling of applications — from counselling and university selection to visa submission and interview preparation. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in managing complex applications while maintaining high visa success rates and strong student satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student Counselling & Admissions
Provide professional counselling based on students’ academic background, eligibility, and career goals.
Guide students in university selection, course mapping, and subject planning.
Manage complete admission processes including document verification, SOP and LOR guidance, and application submission.
2. Visa Application & Compliance
Prepare and submit visa applications for Sweden, Ireland, Denmark, Belgium, Malta, and Hungary.
Ensure full compliance with country-specific immigration regulations and documentation requirements.
Conduct interview preparation and mock sessions where required.
Maintain accurate records of all visa submissions, approvals, and refusals.
3. Student Management & Support
Monitor application progress and provide timely updates to students.
Address student queries and concerns in a professional manner.
Maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction.
Ensure proper documentation and internal compliance record-keeping.
4. Performance & Reporting
Maintain a strong visa approval ratio.
Handle a reasonable volume of cases with accuracy and attention to detail.
Prepare periodic reports on admissions, visa outcomes, and counselling performance.
Support internal audits and compliance checks.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in admissions counselling and visa compliance.
Proven experience handling applications for multiple European countries.
Strong counselling and case management skills.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously.
Demonstrated record of maintaining high visa success rates.
