Experience:
LL.B / LL.M from a reputable university, or a professional accounting/auditing background (e.g., CA-CC, CMA, CIA) paired with strong corporate legal experience.
Gather relevant information regarding land in all prime locations in Dhaka and its adjacent areas and other major cities in Bangladesh
·Deal with various landowners, collect related papers from landowners / media for vetting·
Finalize Deed of Agreement, Purchase Deed based of project feasibility·
Represent the company at criminal/civil court & ensure that the suits are progressing swiftly·
Maintain liaison with Company`s internal lawyers at court & firm·
Perform any other function within the legal framework·
Preparing Vetting report on Land / Property documents·
Providing opinion about the authenticity of ownership of Land / Property
Preparing different types of Deed / Agreement / Undertaking.
To visit various Govt. offices to verify the genuineness of deed, documents, mutations, land development rent receipt, the record of rights (Parcha), and other land documents
From time to time visit Sub-Registrar/A/C Land/Tahshil offices, to re-verify the already verified Land/Property documents and collect necessary information regarding the same
Must be proficient in registration of various types of a deed like a sale deed/mortgage deed/power deed/redemption deed before Sub-Register
To ensure the appearance (HAJIRA) in the court for pending suits/cases
Maintain proper database relating to pending suits & cases, Judgment & decree, total disposes of cases, payment of court fees, payment of lawyers professional fees status and arrange to send it head of Legal Team in every month
Assist in furnishing legal opinion/advice on various matters of the entity , relating to its operation
Assist in vetting and furnishing opinions on various Contracts, Agreements, and Memorandum of Understanding entered into between the entity and third parties
Drafting various letters, notices, case summaries, inquiry reports, and meeting minutes
.Capable to Land rent must be updated on time.
All miss case in AC land office have to capacity to handle on behalf of the entity.
Handle employee-related disputes and sexual harassment cases
Moving & assisting the process of all the other cases on behalf of the company before the Judge Court & High Court;
Attending Courts to follow up cases from filing to till disposal.
1. Core Financial & Commercial Auditing
Financial Statements & Integrity: Review and verify the accuracy of head office financial books, general ledgers, trial balances, and subsidiary accounts against established accounting standards.
Cash Flow & Expense Management: Conduct regular audits of major factory expenditures, petty cash management, administrative overheads at the head office, and fund allocations to various production units.
Banking & Treasury Operations: Audit bank reconciliations, foreign currency exchange (FX) transactions, letters of credit (LCs) for import/export, and long-term/short-term loan accounts.
2. Procurement & Supply Chain Audit
Cotton & Fiber Procurement: Audit the procurement process of major raw materials (e.g., local and imported cotton, polyester, viscose). Verify vendor selection, pricing transparency, grade testing reports, and weight reconciliation between the port, head office bills, and mill gate entry.
Capital Expenditure Audits: Review high-value purchases such as spinning machinery (blow room, carding, ring frames), spare parts, and power plant equipment to ensure budget alignment and transparent bidding processes.
Invoicing & Vendor Payables: Audit vendor invoices, freight forwarder bills, clearing & forwarding (C&F) agent charges, and transport contracts to plug any potential financial leakages.
3. Commercial, Export & Revenue Assurance
Yarn Sales & Realization: Audit domestic and export yarn sales contracts, credit limits given to buyers/agents, and aging reports of accounts receivable to prevent bad debts.
Incentives & Subsidies: Verify documentation and eligibility for government cash incentives, duty drawbacks, and bonded warehouse compliance.
Inventory Control & Valuation: Cross-examine physical stock reconciliation reports sent from the mill (raw cotton, work-in-progress, finished yarn counts) against the central ERP system valuation.
4. Process, Governance & Risk Management
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Evaluate the effectiveness of current internal controls across all departments (HR, Procurement, Sales, Accounts) and recommend modifications to prevent fraud or wastage.
Audit Reporting: Prepare comprehensive internal audit reports highlighting critical findings, financial risks, and process gaps, and present them directly to the Head of Audit / Management.
Follow-up & Implementation: Monitor the implementation of agreed-upon Corrective Action Plans (CAP) by Head Office management to ensure audit points are closed timely.
