Experience:
LL.M. (Master's in Law) degree from a recognized university
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in a law chamber and/or as an in-house legal professional
Preference for experience in labor law, HR, or employment-related matters
Working knowledge of Bangladesh labor and employment laws
Professional conduct aligned with BRAC University's values, attributes and culture
Strong drafting, documentation, coordination, and communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide legal inputs on HR matters, including policies, employment terms, disciplinary actions, grievances, and employee disputes.
Support the review and handling of grievances, show-cause notices, disciplinary proceedings, and related HR matters from a legal compliance perspective.
Review, vet, and assist in drafting MoUs, agreements, contracts, and other legal documents related to academic, research, training, consultancy, and HR services.
Ensure HR practices and policies comply with applicable labor laws, rules, regulations, and employment-related requirements.
Coordinate with external legal counsel on HR-related cases and support legal awareness and training for HR, faculty, and employees on workplace laws, policies, and grievance procedures.
