Experience:
Professional Master`s degree/Appeared in counseling psychology/clinical psychology or equivalent from a reputed university with excellent academic records
A minimum of 01 year of experience in a similar field or appeared in master`s degree
Expertise in handling emergency cases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bangla and English
Proficiency in MS Office applications and Internet usage
Strong organizational skills, with a methodical approach and high attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of colleagues and across different departments and service areas, while maintaining a flexible approach to changing requirements
Initiative and creativity in resolving problems, identifying suitable solutions and opportunities for improvement, with a clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Provide individual, group, couple, parent, and family counseling services to students, staff, and faculty members of BRAC University
Arrange, conduct, and prepare workshops and seminars on various psychosocial issues
Undertake relevant preparation and professional development to strengthen competency in delivering mental health services to the BRACU community
Conduct research on psychosocial issues that can benefit the university
Prepare and submit periodic (weekly/semester-wise) reports of counseling activities to the campus authority and senior counselor, ensuring records are securely maintained and accessible only to authorized persons
Maintain professional ethics and confidentiality at all times, in accordance with the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics and applicable laws and regulations.
Work at both the main and residential campuses as required
Develop and facilitate new, innovative programs addressing mental health issues
Undertake any additional assignments as directed by the supervisor, Registrar, Director, Pro-VC, or VC
