Responsibilities & Context:
Hikmah Education, a growing higher education consultancy in Bangladesh, is looking for a motivated, confident, and student-focused Student Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating with prospective students, understanding their academic and career goals, and providing appropriate guidance on Study Abroad opportunities.
Our Student Counselors support students throughout the initial counseling journey — from understanding their profile and recommending suitable countries and universities to explaining admission requirements, tuition fees, application procedures, visa processes, and other relevant services.

Responsibilities:
Counsel students regarding study abroad opportunities
Communicate with students through phone, WhatsApp and social media
Guide students in selecting suitable universities and programs
Handle admission applications and documentation
Prepare and follow up student applications
Communicate with universities regarding admission matters
Maintain and update student files
Provide proper support and follow-up throughout the admission process
Requirements:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong English communication skills
Candidates with IELTS will be given preference
Basic knowledge of Study Abroad / International Education
Responsible, proactive and willing to learn
Previous experience in education consultancy/admission will be an advantage
Preference: IELTS-qualified candidates will be given priority.
