Responsibilities & Context:
Hikmah Education, a growing higher education consultancy in Bangladesh, is looking for motivated, confident, and student-focused individuals to join our Student Counseling & Admission Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating with prospective students, understanding their academic background and career goals, providing suitable Study Abroad guidance, and supporting students throughout the admission process.
You will work closely with students from the initial counseling stage to university application and admission, including profile assessment, country & university selection, document preparation, application submission and follow-up.
If you have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and an interest in the international education sector, we would love to have you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective students regarding Study Abroad opportunities
Communicate with students through phone, WhatsApp, social media, and in-person counseling
Understand students' academic profiles, preferences, and career goals
Guide students in selecting suitable countries, universities, and programs
Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, application procedures, and visa-related processes
Collect, verify, and maintain required student documents
Submit applications to universities and monitor application progress
Communicate and follow up with universities and admission departments
Follow up with students regarding pending documents, applications, offers, and admission updates
Provide continuous support throughout the admission journey
Maintain professional communication and build strong relationships with students
Candidate Requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident and professional personality
Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Basic knowledge of Study Abroad / International Education will be an advantage
Experience in Student Counseling, Admission, Education Consultancy, or Sales will be preferred
IELTS holders will receive priority
Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply
