Job Context
A fast-growing Real Estate is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic legal professional to lead its Legal Department. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in Bangladesh's real estate sector and be capable of independently managing all legal affairs related to land acquisition, project development, regulatory compliance, litigation, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Handle all legal matters related to land acquisition, joint venture (JV) projects, and apartment sales.
Draft, review, negotiate, and vet all legal agreements, deeds, MOUs, contracts, and corporate documents.
Conduct legal due diligence, title verification, and land document scrutiny.
Liaise with RAJUK, Sub-Registry Offices, AC Land, DC Office, Mutation Office, and other government authorities.
Manage civil, criminal, land, and corporate litigation through external counsel.
Ensure compliance with the Real Estate Development & Management Act, Registration Act, Transfer of Property Act, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
Provide legal opinions to management regarding business risks and strategic decisions.
Support management in resolving complex land disputes and regulatory matters.
Maintain legal records, case files, and compliance documentation.
