Strong academic background, holding an LLB and LLM (Must).
Bar Admission: Must be an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of broad experience in the area of Intellectual Property & Technology, Media and Telecommunication.
• Expertise: Proven experience handling matters before the Department of Patents, Designs and Trademarks (DPDT), Copyright Office, District Court, and High Court. Must have hands-on experience dealing with Trademarks, Patents & Copyright Enforcement, Intellectual Property Litigation, Technology Transfer & Software Licensing, Data Protection & Cybersecurity, Telecommunication Regulations, Media & Broadcasting Laws, and E-Commerce Disputes

We are currently inviting applications from high-calibre, senior legal professionals to join our team as the Department Head of Intellectual Property & Technology, Media and Telecommunication. Operating out of our Motijheel office, this is a pivotal leadership role requiring a candidate with a robust academic background, decisive leadership qualities, and an extensive track record in dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities
• Department Leadership: Supervise the overall operations and casework of the entire Intellectual property & technology, media and telecommunication department.
• Team Management: Effectively lead, motivate, mentor, and manage a team of associates and paralegals.
• Client Relations: Interact directly with the firm’s clients, acting as a trusted senior advisor and providing exceptional legal counsel.
Working Hours: Weekdays from 9:15 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Remuneration: Salary shall be commensurate with the Chambers' policy covering different ranks and grades. Salary reviews are conducted every six months.
