Experience:
Good knowledge of basic laws, rules, and legal procedures applicable to business organizations in Bangladesh.
Good knowledge of legal documentation and contract-related matters.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office applications.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and company information.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Job Context:
Royal Marina Holdings PLC. is looking for a sincere, responsible, detail-oriented, and motivated Junior Legal Officer (Legal Department) to support the day-to-day legal activities of the company.
The selected candidate will assist the Legal Department in maintaining legal documents, preparing and organizing legal files, conducting basic legal research, coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders, and supporting the company in ensuring proper legal compliance.
Job Responsibilities:-
Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns and handle VAT-related compliance matters.
Handle tax-related tasks and coordinate with relevant authorities or departments as required.
Update and maintain RJSC records and corporate documents in accordance with applicable requirements.
Coordinate and communicate with the Audit Team regarding audit requirements, documents, and queries.
Maintain and organize legal files, documents, agreements, contracts, and correspondence.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, agreements, licenses, certificates, permits, and other legal documents.
Monitor the validity and renewal dates of contracts, licenses, permits, certificates, and other legal documents.
Coordinate with other departments regarding legal documentation, agreements, compliance matters, and required information.
Ensure the confidentiality and proper handling of all legal and company-related information.
Maintain proper filing, documentation, and record-keeping of all legal and corporate records.
Conduct basic legal research on relevant laws, rules, regulations, and legal matters.
Assist in maintaining records of ongoing and pending legal matters, cases, legal notices, disputes, and related documentation.
Perform any other legal and administrative duties assigned by management.
