Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Chemical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Engineering, Master of Science (MSc) in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or Applied Chemistry
∎ Skills Required: Able to start up rebuild European origin Paper Mill
Experience Requirements:
∎ 15 to 25 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capable to run second hand testing equipment's independently will have advantage.
∎ Commissioning and Optimizing of New Paper Mill including stock preparation to Re-winder.
∎ Demonstrates safe behavior and work practices. Ensures the crew follows all mill job safety requirements and standard operating procedures.
∎ Promptly investigates safety, fire and paper quality incidents.
∎ Monitor mill operations and directs the crew to meet safety, quality, operating, process and production targets/objectives.
∎ Coordinate production activities with Customer Service Department, Maintenance, Quality Control and Shipping/Receiving activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of personnel, machines and equipment.
∎ Accountable for crew training and accurate crew performance evaluations.
∎ Confronts unprofessional behavior and takes appropriate disciplinary action.
∎ Effectively communicates and implements management/business direction with crew.
∎ Works closely with shift foreman to coordinate mill activities to achieve business results.
∎ Participate directly as hands on work for trouble shooting.
∎ Identify the area of improvements and development.
∎ Responsible for shift administration of Production department.
∎ Responsible for & accountable to the Paper Machines annual operating budget.
∎ Special projects or work as required.
∎ Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities consistent with effective operations and cost factors.
∎ The aforementioned responsibility included but not limited to.
