Educational Requirements:
∎ BA in Fashion Design Technology from any reputed University.
∎ Skills Required: Adobe After Effects, Adobe illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct market research to identify new trends, Fabrics, and Techniques and also seek fashionable, wearable & trendy design inspiration.
∎ Plan & Develop ranges, often based on a theme.
∎ Managing the design process from conception through to final styling.
∎ Ensure products are in agreement with business strategy.
∎ Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors & shapes.
∎ Understand design from a technical perspective. i.e Producing patterns and technical specifications for designs.
∎ Ensure supervising the making up of sample garments.
∎ Should be able to create designs with In-House fabrics.
∎ Ensure fore-planning of season/festival & create the design accordingly that suits.
∎ Ensure the developing of patterns & overseeing the production.
∎ Liaise closely with Sales, Merchandising & production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure items suit the customer, market & price points.
∎ Visit trade shows & manufacturers to source, select & buy fabrics, trims, fastenings & embellishments.
∎ Develop a pattern that is cut & sewn into sample garments & supervise the creation of these, including fitting, detailing & adaptations.
∎ Carry out any other job assigned by the management.
