1. Employee Welfare, Counseling & Industrial Relations
i. Motivate employees to improve attendance, punctuality, and retention through counseling, empathetic listening, and problem-solving support.
ii. Foster positive worker-management relations and facilitate communication between employees and management.
iii. Support resolution of workplace disputes, grievances, and differences of opinion through dialogue, mediation, and reconciliation.
iv. Coordinate discussions between worker representatives and management regarding employment conditions and labor-related matters.
2. Grievance Management & Investigation
i. Receive, record, and manage grievances or complaints through various communication channels (e.g., suggestion boxes, hotline, direct reporting).
ii. Handle grievances related to working hours, overtime, leave, harassment, abuse, health & safety, medical support, and workplace conditions.
iii. Conduct preliminary or formal investigations into complaints and submit findings and recommendations to management.
iv. Maintain grievance records and ensure timely escalation and resolution of employee concerns.
3. Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)
i. Monitor workplace health and safety compliance, including machine guarding, PPE usage, housekeeping, and safety signage.
ii. Follow up on injured or sick employees in coordination with the medical center.
iii. Investigate workplace accidents and injuries and conduct awareness initiatives to prevent recurrence.
iv. Maintain and regularly inspect first-aid boxes to ensure adequate supplies.
4. Training & Employee Awareness
i. Coordinate and facilitate employee training and awareness programs on company policies, employee rights and responsibilities, Code of Conduct, grievance procedures, disciplinary processes, workplace harassment prevention, OHS, fire safety, wages, and leave policies.
ii. Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) and support the design and implementation of training programs.
iii. Evaluate training effectiveness through pre-training and post-training assessments and participant feedback.
