∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ The Candidate should have minimum 10 yrs. of experience in the quality department in Knit Garment Industry, out of which minimum 3 years in the asked Position.
∎ Should have proven leadership skills
∎ Candidate should be able to establish quality parameters in all segment of the department
∎ He should have the knowledge to ensure quality on each manufacturing process of garments i.e. from cutting to packing.
∎ Should be proactive, sincere, dynamic & result oriented
∎ Should be well conversant with computer applications
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ A reputed knit composite garments factory is looking for potential candidates for the position of AGM/DGM (Garments Quality) in its Factory located at Mawna, Gazipur District.
∎ The factory consists of 2300 machines (approx.) & exporting 3.0 to 3.5 million pieces knit garments in each month.
∎ The selected candidate will be responsible to ensure quality of knit garments products in every steps of production (i.e. from cutting to packing).
∎ He should be capable & experienced enough to set up an effective quality team from top to downwards who can properly find out all types of faults in the garment making process and take immediate corrective actions to make the garments accurate.
∎ Major job responsibilities of the position are as follows:
∎ Making effective quality management system to ensure that quality of the garments delivered to the buyers are 100% in line with their requirement.
∎ Assuring the Quality of Knitted Garments from Cutting input till finished Products shipments.
∎ Supervising and Guiding Quality Team efficiently to achieve desired Quality Targets.
∎ Getting successful inspection done at various stages of Production & ensure timely shipment
∎ Setting the quality norms in such a way that rejections of the garments are minimized.
∎ Make sure that the quality personnel are aware of the quality requirement of the particular buyers and train them to maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes.
∎ Plan and handle quality assurance procedure in a way that ensures minimum involvement of time, manpower and other resources while delivering the optimum quality
∎ Represent the company in buying offices to clarify quality related issues, as & when required
