Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc/ M.Sc in Textile Engineering from reputed Public or Private University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for planning, running, and leading the quality department as per buyers' quality standards (AQL, SOP, Manual, approved sample, etc.);
∎ Maintains and improves product quality by monitoring product requirements, SOP, compliance, and technical support.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to develop the product, SOP, and training methods.
∎ To ensure all the garments are produced at the right quality and delivered on time.
∎ Conduct audit and monitor first article and first piece inspection and report.
∎ Maintain quality assurance objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures.
∎ Analyze statistical data to determine present standards and ensure required quality before shipment
∎ Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes.
∎ Determining operational and performance qualifications.
∎ Marker planning, calculating marker efficiency, and work on saving fabric; also, maintaining and recording cutting and fabric consumption.
∎ Fabric reconciliation for the cutting department and determining production fabric average.
∎ Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
∎ Follow up and review the first output garment measurement report against the sample.
∎ Reduce garment defects and make an action plan analyzing the problem and solve the quality issues & innovatively establish Zero defect in the factories.
∎ Take necessary action or inform the authorities if any discrepancies happen.
∎ Need to finalize the critical operation and quality points and explain it to the quality team.
∎ Inline inspection findings should be discussed with the respective Production, IE & QA teams to get the corrective actions.
∎ Report any deviation in the QA system to the management.
∎ Communicate with customers on quality issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 12 years of experience, out of which 2-3 years in similar role in any large RMG industry.
∎ Experience of working with Levi’s will be given preference.
∎ Should have knowledge of all aspects of quality control methods and practices, including AQL levels and other prevailing international standards.
∎ Fabric knowledge, technical knowledge (finishing, cutting, printing, embroidery);
∎ Work in innovative way to simplify tasks and assignments.
∎ Strong people management skills, fairness, leadership ability, and the ability to motivate and manage the team.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
∎ Well conversant in MS-Office.
