Experience:

Job Context:
Fresh Polymer & Paints Ltd. (FPPL) a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is establishing a modern polymer and plastics manufacturing facility at Meghna Economic Zone (MEZ), producing uPVC, cPVC, HDPE pipes & fittings, bathroom fittings, WPC doors, PVC foam sheets, water tanks, paints and other industrial products.
The AGM – Maintenance, Paints will lead the factory maintenance function to ensure maximum equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and safe plant operation through effective preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, utilities management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead overall maintenance activities covering electrical, mechanical, utility, automation, and related plant equipment to ensure reliable operations.
Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment availability and minimize unplanned downtime.
Supervise maintenance engineers, electricians, technicians, and other technical personnel to achieve departmental objectives.
Ensure timely troubleshooting and resolution of equipment breakdowns and recurring technical failures to minimize production losses.
Monitor automation systems, analyze faults, and implement sustainable technical solutions to improve equipment reliability.
Plan maintenance resources, spare parts, tools, manpower, and budgets to ensure effective and cost-efficient maintenance operations.
Coordinate plant setup, machinery installation, commissioning, and development activities with internal teams, foreign suppliers, engineers, contractors, and service providers.
Monitor critical equipment and utility performance to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations.
Analyze breakdowns, downtime, equipment performance, and maintenance KPIs to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS, Procurement, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, statutory requirements, company policies, and audit requirements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and appropriate improvement methodologies, to enhance equipment efficiency and maintenance effectiveness.
Maintain required maintenance records, reports, technical documents, and compliance documentation.
Manage maintenance contractors, vendors, and external technical support to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
Develop the technical competency of the maintenance team through coaching, training, and performance monitoring.
