Position: Construction Management Engineer / Site Supervisor
Job Responsibilities
Manage and supervise construction sites.
Monitor construction progress and ensure projects are completed according to schedule.
Coordinate day-to-day site activities and relevant personnel.
Ensure construction work is carried out safely and according to required standards.
Handle site-related management and coordination duties.
Communicate with relevant parties involved in construction projects.
Take responsibility for assigned construction management and site supervision activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Candidates with an Architecture background are preferred.
Candidates from other engineering-related fields will also be considered.
Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N3 or above.
A Japanese driver's license is required after joining the company.
Willingness to work at construction sites and develop a career in construction management.
Working Conditions
Work Location: Kagoshima City, Japan
Working Days: 5 days per week
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Annual Holidays: 126 days
Overtime: Generally not required. The base salary includes a fixed overtime allowance. Any overtime exceeding the fixed allowance will be paid separately according to company policy.
Transfer: Within Kagoshima Prefecture. Depending on preference, opportunities to work in Okinawa or Ishigaki may also be available.
Salary & Benefits
Monthly Base Salary: JPY 230,000
Bonus: Twice a year, approximately 3 months' salary in total
Annual Salary Review: Average increase of approximately 4.5%
Allowances:
Field Work Allowance: JPY 20,000/month
Qualification Allowance:
Grade 1 or equivalent: Up to JPY 20,000/month
Grade 2 or equivalent: Up to JPY 10,000/month
Family Allowance:
Spouse: JPY 7,000/month
Children/other dependents: JPY 3,000 per person, up to 2 persons
Transportation Allowance: JPY 8,000/month, provided as a gasoline card
Housing allowance is under consideration.
