Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Automobile

•     Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute

OR

•     Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering (preferred).

•     Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered with relaxed educational criteria.

• Age 18 to 35 years

•     Experinced in fleet/vehicle management, transport operations, or automobile maintenance.

•     Background in NGO, corporate, logistics, or transport organizations preferred.

•     Hands-on knowledge of diesel, petrol and EV vehicles, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

•     Experience working with workshops, spare parts vendors, and transport service providers.

•     Evaluate organizational vehicles requirements, conduct market research, compare available brands and models and recommend the most suitable vehicle based on operational needs, quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness before procurement.

•     Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and repair of all organizational vehicles.

•     Inspect vehicles regularly and identify mechanical or technical problems.

•     Coordinate with authorized workshops and mechanics for timely repair.

•     Recommend the right workshop based on the nature of the fault.

•     Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and verify repair quality before vehicles return to service.

•     Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, fuel consumption, insurance, registration, tax token, and fitness certificates.

•     Track vehicle performance and flag recurring technical issues.

•     Ensure availability of essential spare parts and support procurement with technical specifications.

•     Conduct periodic inspections and prepare technical condition reports.

•     Assist in accident investigations and coordinate insurance-related repairs.

•     Ensure compliance with transport policy and road safety standards.

•     Provide technical guidance to drivers on operation and daily inspection.
