• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering.

• Degree from BUET, CUET, RUET, KUET, DUET, AUST or NSU

• Professional certification or training in Project Management will be considered an added advantage.

• Experience Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering and Construction Project Management.

• Experience in Real Estate preferred.

• Strong experience in Chief Engineer role within renowned Real Estate industry for more than 5 years.

• Proven experience in managing residential, commercial, government, or private civil construction projects.

• Strong hands-on experience in Project Handover, Architectural & Structural Design Coordination, Elevation, BOQ, Estimation, MB Verification, Contractor Bill Verification, and Final Billing.

• Additional Requirements

• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.

• Sound knowledge of architectural and structural drawings and design coordination.

• Good understanding of front/external elevation, façade, and finishing quality.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, MS Excel, and other relevant. software.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills in both Bangla and English.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills.

• Willing to travel and visit project sites as required.

Job Location

Dhaka, Bangladesh - May be required to coordinate with project sites and the Chattogram Office as needed.

Job Context

Secure Property Management Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Engineer Civil (AGM/DGM) for its Dhaka operations. The candidate will lead construction works and build a highly professional, competent, enthusiastic, and cordial technical team, focused on all kind of technical solutions, quality control, and timely project handover.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead civil construction projects from planning through final handover, ensuring timely project completion and successful client handover.

• Inspect ongoing and completed works to ensure quality and compliance.

• Prepare and review BOQ, estimates, rate analysis, resource plans, and work schedules.

• Verify MBs, work quantities, contractor bills, material usage, variations, and final bills.

• Review and coordinate front, side, rear, external elevations, and façade works.

• Coordinate architectural layouts, elevations, façade details, and external finishing works, while reviewing architectural, structural, working, and shop drawings for proper execution.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues.

• Ensure coordination among civil, structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting works.

• Supervise foundation, RCC, structural, finishing, and other civil works as per approved drawings.

• Monitor external development works, including roads, drainage, parking, walkways, and landscaping.

• Monitor project budget, schedule, quality, productivity, and safety performance.

• Develop project execution plans, manpower plans, schedules, and progress targets.

• Conduct regular site inspections and coordination meetings to ensure smooth progress.

• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, SOPs, HSE standards, and regulations.

• Prepare progress, technical, completion, and handover reports for Management.

• Resolve technical, design, construction, quality, elevation, façade, and finishing issues promptly.

• Prepare and monitor handover plans, snag lists, punch lists, and related documentation.

• Identify and rectify pending works, defects, and finishing issues before handover.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

• Salary: Negotiable (Based on experience and qualifications).
