Experience:
BSc in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
4–7 years of relevant experience in estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, tendering, and cost analysis in the real estate company, construction company etc.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, specifications, and rate analysis.
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant estimation/quantity surveying software
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering practices.
Excellent understanding of quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
Knowledge of rate analysis and construction cost components.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimation/quantity-surveying software.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM software is an advantage.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “Sr. Engineer /Assistant Manager (Estimate & BOQ)”.
The candidate has to perform following responsibilities:
Review architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and other relevant drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare detailed project cost estimates, including material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, overhead, and other applicable costs.
Prepare rate analysis for civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and finishing works as applicable.
Collect and evaluate current material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor rates from suppliers and market sources.
Prepare tender BOQs, cost summaries, comparison statements, and bid pricing documents.
Review tender documents, scope of work, contract conditions, and technical specifications to identify commercial risks.
Coordinate with the Project, Design, Procurement, Planning, and Commercial teams to verify quantities, specifications, and pricing.
Monitor actual project costs against estimated costs and report significant cost variances.
Prepare cost breakdowns.
Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, quantity calculations, quotations, estimates, and supporting documents.
Participate in tender clarification meetings and respond to technical/commercial queries related to BOQ and pricing.
