Experience:

• 6 to 10 years

• BSc in Civil Engineering from a reputed university

• 6 to 10 years

• Age At least 26 years

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in finishing, interior fit-out, estimation, BOQ, quantity surveying, or cost control.

• Experience in a real estate, interior fit-out, construction, or contracting company will be preferred.

• Practical experience in preparing estimates and BOQs for interior and finishing projects is highly desirable.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, civil, and MEP drawings.

• Strong knowledge of flooring, ceiling, partition, painting, joinery, carpentry, glass, aluminum, sanitary, and other interior finishing works.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D knowledge of software will be an advantage

Now, we are seeking a dynamic & energetic person to join us as “Project Engineer (Civil) – Finishing & Interior Works”.

• Review architectural, interior, civil, and finishing drawings, specifications, and project documents.

• Prepare/verify detailed BOQ and quantity take-offs for finishing and interior works.

• Prepare project cost estimates for materials, labor, subcontractor works, equipment, and other related costs.

• Prepare rate analysis for various finishing and interior works.

• Estimate quantities and costs for:

  • Floor tiles, wall tiles, marble, granite, and other flooring works.

  • False ceiling, gypsum board, partition, and drywall works.

  • Painting, polishing, wall finishes, and decorative finishes.

  • Doors, windows, glass, aluminum, and related works.

  • Woodwork, carpentry, cabinetry, and joinery.

  • Kitchen and wardrobe works.

  • Sanitary and bathroom finishing works.

  • Interior fit-out and renovation works.

  • Skirting, cladding, wall paneling, and other architectural finishes.

  • Civil modification and related finishing works.

• Review drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies, missing items, and scope requirements.

• Collect and evaluate current market rates for finishing materials, labor, subcontractor works, and interior products.

• Coordinate with the Design, Project, Procurement, Planning, and Commercial teams regarding quantities, specifications, materials, and pricing.

• Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions, measurements, and work requirements.

• Monitor actual quantities and project costs against estimated quantities and budgets.

• Prepare variation orders, additional-work estimates, and cost breakdowns when required.

• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, measurements, quotations, BOQs, rate analysis, and estimates.

• Assist in tender clarification and respond to technical/commercial queries related to finishing and interior works.

• Bill checking with verification.
