Job Context:
Fresh Polymer and Paints Limited (FPPL), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), is setting up a polymer manufacturing facility at the Comilla Economic Zone, Bangladesh. The plant will manufacture high-quality uPVC WPC doors and uPVC foam sheets to meet growing market demand. To support its production operations, FPPL is looking for a motivated, honest, proactive, and energetic professional for the position of Assistant Engineer – Production. The role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day production activities, ensuring smooth operations, product quality, and adherence to safety and operational standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in operating production lines to ensure uninterrupted and efficient manufacturing of polymer and paint products.
Monitor process parameters to maintain product quality and achieve targeted production output.
Coordinate with maintenance and utility teams to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
Inspect raw materials, intermediate, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Record production data and prepare daily operational reports to support performance analysis.
Implement standard operating procedures to ensure safe and standardized production practices.
Support troubleshooting activities to resolve process and equipment-related issues quickly.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure proper shift handover and operational continuity.
