Additional Requirements: - Must have proven experience in factory building, road, bridge, gas line, and railroad construction.
- PMP or equivalent certification will be considered an asset.
- Extensive prior experience in managing budgets for construction projects.
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Previous leadership experience with demonstrated and proven leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
- Prior work experience in construction management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of construction management processes. Ability to plan ahead effectively.
- Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, quality standards, and HR practices.
- Experience in conflict resolution and conflict management.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to multitask with a solid understanding of core managerial duties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation skills.
Responsibilities & Context: Oversee construction projects from beginning to end.
Manage the budget and estimate costs.
Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower required.
Keep track of inventory, tools, and equipment.
Prepare reports on construction status.
Resolve any problems that may arise.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Train and monitor construction workers and laborers, depending on project size.
Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key project team members.
Negotiate contract agreements with external vendors.
Obtain the required permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites.
Plan construction operations.
Ensure that all deadlines are met.
