Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline from any reputed university.
CA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
RFL Group seeks a highly qualified, experienced Assistant Finance Controller (AFC) to oversee and manage the finance and accounting functions of a specific Business Unit. The incumbent will ensure accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, budgeting and forecasting, cost management, compliance, and overall financial discipline for the assigned Business Unit.
The role will play a key part in monitoring the Business Unit’s financial performance, analyzing profitability and costs, strengthening internal control systems, and providing timely financial insights to support business growth and management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the assigned Business Unit and ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and management reports.
Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process; monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis with corrective recommendations.
Establish and monitor effective financial controls, ensure proper authorization and documentation of transactions, and identify financial risks, control gaps, and potential areas of financial leakage.
Analyze revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and overall financial performance of the Business Unit and provide actionable financial insights to management for business growth and cost optimization.
Prepare and present financial dashboards, MIS, forecasts, and business performance reports, providing reliable financial information to Business Unit leadership and senior management for strategic decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, and internal controls while working effectively with Business Unit management, corporate functions, auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
