Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee end-to-end factory operations including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
∎ Ensure production targets are met as per company standards with a focus on cost, quality, and efficiency.
∎ Monitor machine utilization, manpower efficiency, and raw material consumption to reduce wastage.
∎ Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize equipment downtime.
∎ Lead and supervise production teams, including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
∎ Implement lean manufacturing practices, process improvement initiatives, and SOPs across the production floor.
∎ Coordinate with Head Office teams (Planning, SCM, QC, Accounts) for smooth operational flow.
∎ Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies inside the factory.
∎ Prepare and maintain operational reports, inventory records, and daily production logs.
∎ Identify skill gaps and provide guidance, training, and motivation to factory staff.
∎ Maintain strong liaison with local vendors, service providers, and support functions as required.
