  • Experience on Finance operation

  • Computer literacy with skills (both English & Bangla)

  • Analytical and decision-making ability, communication and interpersonal skill.

  • Experience on Tally Accounting Software is preferable.



Responsibilities & Context:

Budgetary Responsibilities (at least 50% of time): List your actions in bullet (point/number)·        

  • Ensure day to day record keeping in accounting software Tally and take back up of data on regular basis.·        

  • Maintain books of accounts electronically in compliance with statutory requirements and DRRA Head Office requirements.·        

  • Support on analyzing budget proposals to the Donors, review Donors’ financial policy and guidelines, ensure compliance with the Donors’·       

  •   Support to prepare Budget Variance Analysis Report of all the projects on a regular basis·        

  • Ensure all types of project related Treasury Function going on timely manner

  • fund flow, monitor cash management, timely adjustment of advances such as fund receipts and disbursement.·        

  • Prepare or review the payments bills/invoices, expenses summary, vouchers, the status of outstanding advances.·        

  • Verify travel statements/claim and account for the same.·         Prepare consolidated travel claim / reimbursements as required by the Donor.

 Implementation and Quality of the Programme/Administrative Action (at least 30% of time)·        

  • Ensure timely deposit of statutory payments to the respective authorities, e.g.

  • preparing statements, filing returns as applicable.·        

  • Ensure that all project related reimbursements/claims are accounted properly, supporting documents are available, develop reports as required by the Donor and Management of DRRA·        

  • Any other assistance with respect to finances as required by the Executive Director.

 Management (10%)·        

  • To efficiently & actively supporting the project operations and project staff members in creating positive and appreciative atmosphere for team-based work in project as well finance department of DRRA.·        

  • Verify stock and purchase and confirm stock report of consumable, assets and raw materials.·       

  •   Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statement on monthly basis. 

Networking and Communication (10%)·        

  • Handle the assigned project bank operation and maintain liaison with principal bankers.·        

  • Ensure update all expenses related documents & papers timely as mended in Vatara·        

  • Internal and External coordination among other projects finance team
