Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To ensure compliance of expenditures with the financial regulations.
∎ Check and prepared all vouchers, like Bank payment and received Voucher, Journal Voucher.
∎ Maintain daily Bank book and all kinds of A/C related books.
∎ Support to provide adequate, timely and accurate financial information to the responsible persons as requested.
∎ Monitor, update and manage the budgets.
∎ Maintain accounting controls by preparing the necessary background papers.
∎ Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
∎ Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
∎ Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information on monthly, quarterly basis.
∎ Update and follow new transactions and balances of bank accounts and reconcile with accounting book.
∎ Prepare monthly payroll and maintain staff benefit sheet.
∎ Prepare staff final payment sheet.
∎ Assist updating preferred asset inventory.
∎ Provide translation/interpretation as needed for Bills/ vouchers.
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly financial report and Others.
∎ Prepare invoice against receivable/bill, record the vouchers by accounting software.
∎ Fund Management.
∎ Prepare final accounts for external audit at the end of the year as per all transaction.
∎ Support internal and external audit team at the end of the year when audit occurred.
∎ Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
∎ Responsible for achieving the project goals and objectives as a member of the project team by fulfilling the roles and responsibilities outlined in the job description.
∎ Responsible for preparing monthly finance reports using accounting software Quick book/Tally.
∎ Overseas budget, purchase, and admin comply with organizational and national polices.
∎ Ensure grants management complies with donor agreements.
∎ Assists the Finance Officer in conducting Project Audits. Ensure proper care and utilization of assets and materials.
∎ Conduct audits of the People’s institutions i.e. PG, MLC, and PI.
∎ Prepare revised FD-6 and other government documents as and when needed. Additional Requirement:
∎ Age limit 25 to 38 years.
∎ Knowledge of the legal and tax system in Bangladesh.
∎ Experience with financial management systems, project applications, invoicing, payment, and reporting.
∎ Experience with the automated accounting environment. ERP is a strong advantage and it experience would be preferred.
∎ Drive to succeed in a support role, able to work independently on own tasks, service-minded, and enjoying supporting the team on all daily administrative activities.
∎ Willingness to work during flexible hours.Skills:
∎ MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
∎ Software knowledge (ERP).
∎ Proficient in both spoken and written English.
