∎ JOB PURPOSE: Lead the Upazila-level implementation team (POs) to ensure implementation of the operational activities regarding UPG, health, education, skill, Women Empowerment & Gender (WEGE), WASH at the branch level of BRAC to Basic project. To ensure program quality, s/he will visit field activities randomly and provide supportive supervision to improve staff capacity and program quality. S/he will work to maintain supply chain management properly.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure Upazila-level programme integration as per provided guidelines and standard operating procedures.
∎ Ensure UPG member and enterprise selection, income generating activities (IGAs) training, asset transfer and disbursement of interest-free loans as per program guidelines.
∎ Ensure assets purchasing and scanning, and follow up the group visit and home visit as per guidelines to expedite the ultra-poor graduation process.
∎ Ensure the healthcare services of the programme participants and their family members by providing available services and creating different referrals and linkages.
∎ Ensure opening and managing BRAC school following the guidelines as per target.
∎ Ensure to facilitate legal-aid clinic, receive complaints and conduct ADRs. If necessary, refer the court case to the panel lawyer(s).
∎ Take adequate interventions to reduce early/child marriage through different interventions per guidelines.
∎ Ensure selection of the potential MCP and learners, facilitate the overall graduation process, and create job linkage.
∎ To improve programme quality and staff's capacity, s/he will visit the field to find any deviation and overcome it through constructive feedback and supportive supervision.
∎ Implement the interventions per programmes' guidelines (SOP/ operational manual, guidelines, meeting minutes, circular etc.) for better program outcomes.
∎ Communicate and liaison with BRAC other programmes, the Government and others stakeholders for proper implementation of the programs.
∎ Conduct and follow up different types of training/ orientation/ workshop and refreshers (SS/SK/ teachers/ PS etc.)
∎ Analysis of the staff's training needs and orrange the trainings accordingly.
∎ Demand analysis, submit the requisition, ensure purchasing with the proper purchase committee, and maintain inventory following the organisational procedures.
∎ MIS report preparation, preservation and sending to assign authority timely.
∎ Budget analysis, ensuring expenditure within the budget, booking to fixed code of assigned programme and end of every month miscode and over-expenditure cross-check.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Understanding of recent development issues, especially livelihood, skill development, social rights, basic laws etc. Financial Management,
∎ Good managerial, communication, facilitation, presentation, and reporting skill
∎ Gender sensitivity, Critical thinking and motivational competencies, Training Facilitation, MS Office, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Basic IT knowledge.
∎ At least two years of working experience in development sectors.
